Courses on global seismological observations “Maintaining peace and mitigating the earthquakes’ effects” as part of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) program
From 7 January to 3 March 2026, the International Institute of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering (IISEE) in Tsukuba, Japan, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), will hold its traditional courses on Global Seismological Observations. This year, the title has been expanded to include Peacekeeping and Earthquake Mitigation, and additions have been made to the training program.

Employees of the IGR NNC ARKAE regularly participate in these courses. This year, Pavel Viktorovich Ryabenko, head of the processing group at the Data Centre of the IGR NNC RK, is taking part in the courses.
