From 12 to 16 May 2025, CAPSSI staff participated in the Seismic Data Management Training course.

The programme included the following modules:

- Introduction to SeisComP

An introductory lecture on SeisComP, a state-of-the-art software platform for the real-time acquisition, processing and visualisation of seismic data.

-              SeisComP Basic Training:

Step-by-step, hands-on training on setting up, configuring, and operating the SeisComP system.

-              EarthScope Web Services:

An introduction to the online services and interfaces provided by EarthScope for accessing seismic data.

The lectures and exercises were given by specialists from EarthScope and ISTI (Instrumental Software Technologies, Inc.).

Seismologists from the Caucasus and Central Asia participated in the training. All participants received certificates at the end of the course.
