An employee of the Centre has been awarded the «Outstanding Contributor to the Nuclear Industry» badge

28 September 2026, Astana. A ceremony was held in the capital to mark Kazakhstan’s Nuclear Industry Workers’ Day. The event was attended by industry veterans, scientists, engineers, heads of relevant organisations and representatives of the professional community.

During a formal ceremony, specialists from the country’s leading organizations were awarded the Republic of Kazakhstan’s «Outstanding Contributor to the Nuclear Industry» badge in recognition of their significant contribution to the development of the nuclear industry.

Among those honored was Irina Aristova, Head of the Analysis and Research Group at the Centre for the Acquisition and Processing of the Special Seismic Information, "Institute of Geophysical Research" of the National Nuclear Centre of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In recognizing the achievements of professionals in the sector, Almasadam Satkaliyev, Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Atomic Energy, emphasized the special role played by skilled personnel, their knowledge, experience and sense of responsibility, as well as the importance of intergenerational continuity and the passing on of accumulated experience to young professionals.

For the Centre’s team, Irina Aristova’s award was a significant event and a testament to the high regard in which the professional contribution of staff of the CAPSSI "IGR" NNC RK is held in the development of Kazakhstan’s nuclear industry.
